Namuli Rose is from the village of Byerima where Sr. Maria grew up. She is the mother of three girls whose names are Nakamatte Jane, Nalugo Juliet, and Namata Rose. Her daughters are five, three and two years old respectively. She has also taken in an old woman who was abandoned by her own family. Namuli and Nalongo are working together and decided to share a pigsty so both families appear together in our photos.
Namuli Rose has divorced her husband due to his lack of support for the family and abusive behavior. She and Nalongo work together to support all of their children.
When we delivered piglets to our second and third families the children sang us a song of welcome.
Our second and third families decided to work together and share a pigsty so EYN constructed a four stall sty and delivered two breeding pairs of piglets.
